The Lajitas Resort is much more than a fancy golf course and pleasant RV park. We walked around and found a few more sights to share.
Here is one of the resort's small fleet of jeeps that guests rent to drive out into the desert or up into the mountains on the back roads. (Cindy don't be jealous)
The main lodge has beautiful decor and excellent artwork on the walls. Here Karen is checking a painting that caught her attention.
Next to the golf clubhouse is the Longhorn Museum. It has perhaps the world's largest collection of cattle longhorn racks on display.
The golf pro told us that there are 480 sets of horns in the museum and that there are another 400 on display in other buildings around the resort. He said the current owner paid $2-1/2 million for the collection.
We found this small old mission chapel on the resort property that was open and just waiting for someone to come in to pray . We prayed for good weather and the good Lord was listening.
