The RV park in Slidell, Louisiana was overpriced and nothing to blog about. We stopped in that town because of strong westerly winds that were getting tiresome driving into. When the winds died down on Thursday we were happy to leave and drive across Louisiana to Lake Charles, which is almost on the Texas border. Do you know who was born here? .. We found A+ RV Park that is just outside of town and it was just what we were looking for. Clean, reasonably-priced, with level cement pads and roomy. Definitely the best RV Park we have ever seen in Louisiana.
And how can you beat next-door neighbors with dogs like this?
These Pugs were friendly and one was 11 years old. We loved them. They reminded us of our beloved late Pug, Jaeger.
