We Leave the Gulf Coast and Head into the Piney Woods of East Texas

Our plan is to work our way to west-central Texas and leave our travel trailer there until next December.  We are getting off the interstates and driving some back roads as we go west;

We found Country Place RV Park near the little town of Cut And Shoot, Texas which is not far from the larger city of Conroe.

The park has gravel roads and small lots, but had a new level cement pad on which we could park for a few days.  The weather has been sunny and almost hot.

There is no cable TV here, but there is a game room with a pool table, Foosball, and ping pong.  There is a good laundry room which always helps.  Bill saw some nice Bass in the ponds and should have brought a fishing pole.  Oh well.

Side note:  Most of the occupants in the units here are full-time residents.  You find that throughout the Southern United States in most RV parks.
