A New Place to Stay at Destin, Florida

Monday was another moving day so we drove to ...
the city of Destin  into Henderson Beach State Park.  It is much smaller than Topsail but has large level stone sites with lots of privacy. Like most of these parks it is right on the Gulf on land tucked away between giant beach hotels and resorts.

The campground was very obliging and sent this electrician out to make sure we hooked up to the electricity correctly.  (look closely above)

The weather was in the 70s so we took a stroll along the shore as a fog blew in.  Karen actually got to wear her shorts on the walk.
And Bill got to get his feet wet.

Storms coming in tonight!
