On Sunday morning we left Jennings Florida and drove east on Highway 10 toward Jacksonville, then south to St. Augustine. We had made reservations at Anastasia State Park which we had visited last year. It is right on the Atlantic Ocean with miles of beautiful beach. It is difficult to get camping spots here, so reservations are a must this time of year.
We took a long walk on the beach and this flock of birds flew in to greet us. The signs say that North Atlantic Right Whales are migrating through this area but we saw none.
Free WI-FI was a new service near the beach and we hope we see these signs at other state parks. It was a cool and damp day but the weather is getting warmer and the sun may soon shine again.
