We Cross Over to the Gulf Side (No...not the Dark side!)

Our travels Thursday brought us west toward Tallahassee on US-10 then south on Highway 319 to the Gulf of Mexico.  We took a spot in this small RV park which is right on the Gulf east of the small town of Carrabelle.  The park is on Highway 98 which down here is known as the "Forgotten Highway".
The RV park has a long pier which is popular for fishing and sightseeing.

With temps in the 60's the pier was a good place to explore on our walk.

This is what the RV park looks like from the fishing pier.  We now have about 50 cable channels plus a great internet connection so we will be staying here a few days until we move into our next state park.  Now we are all set up to watch the college football championship game on Monday night!
