We recently decided to take a drive to the east along the Gulf of Mexico to see what we could find.
In the small town of Panacea we stumbled across this place, above, and pulled in for a look.
Among their exhibits were numerous "Touch Tanks" where you could reach in and grab the sea creatures (if you had the courage). Here Karen shows her love for starfish!
This sea turtle did not want to be touched so we left him alone. Just look at that frown. : (
Bill can now admit he caught the crabs in Florida.
Karen found this sea urchin to be rather friendly.
And finally, Bill had to show how macho he was at an outside tank by playing with this wiggly Horseshoe Crab.
Karen did not win the Powerball, as she had promised, so we cancelled our order for that private jet we were going to use for the rest of our Florida trip. Darn!
