Day 39: We Move on Farther Down the Valley Toward Brownsville

Monday February 10 found us hooking up Edgewater and heading for a new RV park to try.  We landed at Fun N' Sun RV Resort near San Benito, Texas.  We are now about five miles south of Harlingen and about twenty miles north of Brownsville.  It is another older park with hundreds of RV sites, park models, mobile homes, and double wide manufactured homes.  Tuesday was Western Day with about four hours of entertainment and events that volunteers provided to raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Benito.

We walked down to find this parking lot full.  Note the rain protection.

Here was a band made up of park residents.

I found Karen over hanging out with "The Duke".

It is not every day you get to see 70-year-old cloggers.  (They were pretty good)

And Bill found a pretty saloon gal to get a hug from and a shot of sarsaparilla.
