Day 35: The Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville (Part 2 of 3)

The Zoo was designed so well that a visitor can see a great variety of animals without having to walk  mile after mile.  There were also plenty of  clean bathrooms and concession stands.

The Jellyfish were translucent and graceful.

This snake was beautiful (if that is possible for a snake)

A very colorful deer.

These Flamingos reminded us of "Alice in Wonderland"....

But their color had nothing on this Scarlet Ibis.

It would be hard to sneak up on this Rhino.  Notice how he turned his ear toward us.

This fellow could win a staring contest hands down.

And here we got two creatures for the price of one camara click.
