Early Monday evening, after our emergency on-board drill, we sailed northeast down the St. Lawrence Seaway. During the night we turned to the west and entered the Saguenay Fjord which is the second largest fjord in North America. (we read)
Miles up the Fjord we docked in the early morning at the beautiful small Quebec city of Saguenay.
Saguenay is a quaint, clean, quiet city on the banks of the Saguenay Fjord.
When we got off the ship the weather was cool, overcast, but no rain.
Some of the children in the town put on a dance/show for the cruise ship as we disembarked.
We took a long walk to see the town and get a few supplies.
Here Karen stopped by a church to pose for a picture.
The statue above her must have thought she scored a touchdown. :>)

Obviously, this Quebec town has decor aimed at the tourist trade.
By late morning Karen had seen enough and was spotted heading back to the Zuiderdam.
That is her above with the white hat and dark jeans.
Bill was surprised that a ship this size could dock so close to the rocky shore. The Canadians know how to use their dredging equipment, for sure.
