Many mornings this is the scene across the road from our RV lot here at Bentsen Palm Village Resort:
The parked cars belong to construction workers who are building the border wall down here south of Mission, Texas.
Just down the trail road north of the state park are some of their building materials and heavy-duty equipment.
As you can see above, it takes large machinery to put the wall together, plus skilled operators.
The work continues on most days when it is not raining.
The wall is not continuous and, so far, we cannot see any value or protection that it is providing.
