On Tuesday, February 7, we pulled up stakes in Ajo and drove on west to Yuma.
Close to Yuma we drove out of the desert and into the "salad bowl". We started seeing lush green irrigated crops in the fields like you see above.
Some crops were being harvested. We saw many workers in the fields.
We got a very good site for a week at the Cocopah Bend RV and Golf Resort which is on the northwest side of Yuma. Above you see the view looking out of our travel trailer door. Yuma is said to get more sunshine than any other American city, and it has no less than forty-two (42) RV parks!
