On Sunday, March 1, we dropped off the travel trailer into storage at La Feria, Texas by noon. The weather was warm but windy with the wind at our backs as we headed north toward Houston. We traveled through Houston before dark and spent the night at a Best Western in Cleveland, Texas.
On Monday we continued northeast and into Arkansas and past Little Rock where we ended up at this Comfort Suites motel in Forest City, Arkansas.
The warm weather followed us northward and we have only hit a few small patches of rain. We are now only an hour from Memphis so we are in no hurry to check into our next motel. Karen prefers Comfort Inns and this one one was an excellent choice. Today is Super Tuesday for voting and our next two nights will be in spent in Memphis, Tennessee.
