On Monday We Explore the Old City of Durres, Albania

Durres, Albania is an ancient city that was once ruled by the Romans.

We did our own walking tour from the ship, and with our map we soon found the oldest part of Durres.

We visited this Roman Amphitheater which is the second largest in all of Europe.  It was built in the 2nd century A.D. and could hold 15,000 spectators.

We walked downtown and found a unique way to hold your precious parking spot.

This pizza shop used motor scooters to deliver the goods.

We saw numerous dogs roaming the downtown streets.  They appeared healthy and knew how to avoid the cars and trucks.  They did not bother the people.

Monday night's show on the ship was "Stage & Screen" another fine evening of entertainment.
