Friday was a warm and sunny day that allowed us to explore the ship and get used to life at sea.
Here is the swimming pool area on deck 10 with a bar and cafe. There is also a pool at the stern on deck 7.
The gift shop on board has a great liquor display but these bottles can only be purchased for delivery when the cruise is done. The prices are very reasonable for top-shelf liquor.
Friday evening in the auditorium included a talk from our captain, Dag Dvergastein. Here he is introducing his chief offers.
After hearing from the captain, we were entertained by an excellent song and dance show.
Saturday morning we are scheduled to arrive in Messina, Sicily.
