Our new 2019 GMC Pickup came with a tailgate that is rather unique to the trucking world.
On the pictures below Bill shows some of its features.
Tailgate when closed.
As a small work table...
With a small high flip-up stop.....
Tailgate fully open......
With a lower flip-up barrier to keep items inside....
As a stairway to easily climb into the truck bed
(notice the fold-down safety hand rail)
The steps make it much easier for old guys to climb in and out.
And finally a good place to sit down after a hard session of photo shooting!
For the record even Chevy does not have a tailgate like this.
