Pickup Survey in Our RV Park

Our RV Resort, Fortuna De Oro, has over 1200 sites.  Most are sites for portable vehicles but many are permanent park model homes as well.  We would guess that the park is about 75 percent full right now.  As you might guess, there are plenty of pickup trucks here.  Most are used to pull travel trailers and  fifth-wheel units, but some are pulled here behind large motor coaches.

Bill decided to so an unscientific survey of what brand of pickup trucks are here.  It took three very thorough bicycle trips through the park to count each nameplate:  Ford, Dodge Ram, or Chevy/GMC.

Here are the results:

Ford = 76

Dodge Ram = 82

Chevy/GMC = 92

Now....that information and $5 dollars should get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
