As we may have mentioned before, the majority (we believe) of retirees who come to Yuma, AZ in the winter months are from Canada. Throughout the city you see license plates from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and even some from Ontario. Therefore, our park has to compete with this park next door for winter residents.
Sundance is owned by the same corporation.
Both parks field senior softball teams. On Saturday morning Sundance beat Fortuna De Oro by the score of 12-10.
It was a fun game to watch, with $1.00 hotdogs as well.

Sundance actually has summer curling courts to attract the hard-core Canadian sportsmen.
