The Yuma County Sheriff Department is located about a half-mile from Fortuna De Oro.

Right next door to the Sheriff is this branch of the Yuma District Library, below. For $10.00 we got a two-month library card. The library is very modern with a large selection of books, DVDs, personal computers, magazines, etc.
We can easily ride our bikes to the library. Karen likes the selection of new books and also the small store across the street that sells lotto tickets. Bill likes the documentary DVDs the library has. This is another reason we picked our RV location on the east side of Yuma.
