On New Year's Day, 2026, we received a sad call from back in Michigan that was not a good start for our family this year. Bill's older sister, Sally, was found dead in her yard at home near Portage, Michigan. It is believed to be from natural causes as she had heart problems in the past. Last summer our family honored her at her 80th Birthday.

I am so sorry to learn of Bill's sister's passing. And to hear about it so unexpectedly as you had just arrived in Texas had to be surreal. My sympathies go out to Bill, Karen and all the family.
ReplyDeleteSally was my oldest and dearest friend, and I am very saddened by her passing. But, Sally knew and trusted Jesus, so we know she is with Him in heaven. Weeping lasts through the night, but joy comes in the morning. Ps 30:5
